Anti-CAA plea hearing: SC seeks GOI's response on fresh petitions; next hearing on Oct 31
The Supreme Court on Monday posted for hearing on October 31 a batch of petitions challenging the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), 2019 and sought the Centre's response on some fresh pleas. A bench of Chief Justice of India UU Lalit and Justice S Ravindra Bhat observed it would refer the CAA case for hearing to a three-judge bench
