A school in South Delhi's Pushp Vihar received a bomb threat today, according to reports. This is the third such incident so far this month. Earlier, the Delhi Public School received bomb threats twice this month; both turned out to be hoaxes.

In the fresh incident, the South Delhi school in Pushp Vihar received a bomb threat via email, following which police were informed and the school evacuated, PTI quoted officials as saying.

"Delhi Police and bomb disposal squad were rushed to Amrita School after being informed about the threat by the school authorities. The school was immediately evacuated, and buildings were checked, but nothing suspicious was found so far," PTI reported, quoting officials.

The Delhi Public School in Mathura Road had received bomb threats twice this month, on May 1 and May 12.

On the first occasion, the police said that it was a hoax email sent by the student, who admitted to planning the prank "just for fun."

The second incident also turned out to be a hoax.
