Recently, Mahindra shared a post on X, previously Twitter, about a newly launched restaurant in Goa. Many users shared their views on the same. While some were full of praise for the place, others expressed a desire to visit it someday. But there was one out-of-context comment that caught the attention of Mahindra. In that comment, a person asked the industrialist to offer him monetarly help worth 1 lakh rupees so that he could buy the share of Mahindra's company.
The user wouldn't have thought in his wildest dreams that Mahindra would respond to that post, which left the internet in splits. For many users, it was a commendable effort to share something completely unrelated to the main post, while others praised Mahindra for his witty reply.
Here's the post:
“Sir, mujhe 1 lakh rs chahiye Mahindra ka share kharidne ke liye [Sir, I need Rs 1 lakh to buy Mahindra shares],” commented the X user.
To this, Mahindra replied, “What an idea, sir ji. Aapki himmat ke liye taaliyan! Poochne mein kya jaata hai? [Applause for your courage! What’s there to lose in asking?]”
Since being shared, Anand Mahindra's post has garnered a lot of traction on X with more than 3,000 likes over 1.8 lakh views. Many users also shared their thoughts on the same.

“Kya pata saamne wala kisi din mood me ho aur maan hi jaye [What if the person is in a good mood and just agree],” posted an individual.
Another wrote, “That’s brave.”
A fourth wrote, “This is epic.”
A sixth user said, “Good one! Like the humour. Something that is missing badly nowadays.”
“If you don’t ask, the answer is always no!” remarked a seventh.
