Three more Khalistani supporters and associates of Amritpal Singh were brought to the Dibrugarh jail on Tuesday. These included Harjeet Singh, Kulwant Singh Dhaliwal and Gurinder Pal Singh.

A team of Punjab Police reached Dibrugarh Central with proKhalistani leader Harjeet Singh (uncle of Amritpal) on Tuesday morning. A senior police officer told ET, “The team, escorted by the Assam Police, reached Dibrugarh Central Jail by road at 7.10 am from Guwahati.” In the afternoon, two more associates — Kulwant Singh Dhaliwal and Gurinder Pal Singh — reached the jail. Assam Police has reviewed the jail’s security. On Sunday, four Waris Punjab De members were brought to Dibrugarh.

The detainees are Daljeet Kalsi, Basant Singh, Gurmeet Bhukhanwala and Bhagwant Singh alias Pradhan Mantri Bajeke who were charged under NSA.
