‘Amid global uncertainty, our partnership becomes important’, Singapore PM seals ties with India

India & Singapore trade relations deepen as Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong in new Delhi today. PM Wong was on his first official three day visit to India. His visit coincided with the 60th anniversary of India-Singapore diplomatic relations. The focus of the visit was to build on ongoing bilateral momentum, while both the nations signed 5 MoU’s & agreed to partner across defence, space & technology. The Singapore PM acknowledged that India’s growing influence is being felt across the globe and amid global uncertainty this partnership will become important.
