"Yes, America’s got talent indeed and a lot of it is coming from India," Anand Mahindra stated, highlighting that for the second time in two weeks, a young girl of Indian origin showcased remarkable talent on the AGT stage. Mahindra was particularly impressed by the young contestant's proficiency in American music genres such as Rock and Gospel.
"What on earth is going on? For the second time, within the past two weeks, a young—VERY young—woman of Indian origin has rocked the stage at @AGT with raw talent that is simply astonishing. With skills acquired in indigenous American genres of music. Rock and Gospel. Pranysqa Mishra is just NINE years old."
A video of Pranysqa's performance went viral, showing her promising to call her grandmother if she was selected. Upon being selected, Pranysqa fulfilled her promise and video-called her grandmother, creating an emotional moment. “I had tears too when they called her grandmother," Mahindra commented on his post.
Pranysqa shared that she felt "scared and really excited" during her performance and was accompanied by her parents and sister. Her family, along with Pranysqa, was moved to tears as Heidi Klum joined them on stage to congratulate her for her “incredible” performance.
