Union home minister Amit Shah on Friday said that PM Modi has given a goal to every Indian to make Bharat (India) Viksit by 2047.

Shah was speaking at the Times Now Summit as the chief guest. The summit is co-presented by Dream Sports and powered by Pernod Ricard India.

"The Prime Minister has given a goal to every Indian of Viksit Bharat by 2047 and every Indian should work towards the same," Shah said in response to a query on what are his unfinished agendas after Article 370, CAA among others.On Waqf Bill amendments to be introduced in the Parliament, the home minister said that the Bill will be tabled in this session of Parliament. The ongoing session of Parliament is scheduled to end on April 4. He also clarified that the Bill does not have a provision to start disputes in Waqf properties through retrospective effect. Shah said that there are 123 Waqf properties in the national capital alone. The union cabinet passed Waq Bill amendments in February this year following which it was introduced in the parliament during the ongoing budget session.
