Aligarh: Private school teacher brutally beats KG student, administers electric shocks for not bringing bag

The child's father, Dilip Kumar, a resident of Bharat Nagla village, said his son, James, is a UKG student at the school, located near the Khereshwar Dham temple. On the day of the incident, James had forgotten his school bag at home. His grandfather had dropped him off at school as both of his parents were unavailable—Dilip was out of town, and the child’s mother was unwell.
According to the family, the teacher reacted harshly to the forgotten bag. “The teacher beat him severely," said Dilip. "They removed his clothes and shoes, gave him electric shocks, and subjected him to extreme cruelty.” Traumatized by the experience, James returned home during a school break and told his mother about the ordeal.
Police Investigation Underway
Following the complaint, the family immediately went to the school to protest, and the matter was reported to the local police. Lodha police station in-charge Rajveer Singh Parmar, along with his team, arrived at the school to begin inquiries.“We have started questioning the school staff and administrators,” said DSP Ranjan Sharma. “A case will be registered based on the written complaint.”
School Denies Allegations
The principal of the school has denied the charges. “The complaints of the child being subjected to electric shock are wrong. We are ready to show CCTV footage. The allegations are unsubstantiated,” the principal stated.As the investigation continues, the police are gathering evidence and questioning those involved to ascertain the truth behind the incident.
