Ajay Seth takes additional charge as Revenue Secretary

The government on Saturday assigned Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) secretary Ajay Seth the additional charge of revenue secretary, reports Our Bureau. The appointment is effective immediately.

The post of revenue secretary was vacant following the appointment of Tuhin Kanta Pandey as chairman of Sebi on February 27.

Seth, a 1987-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the Karnataka cadre, will hold the additional charge until a regular incumbent is appointed or until further orders.
