Delhi woke up to a sunny morning on Tuesday with the minimum settling at 10.6 degrees Celsius, 3.1 notches above the season's average. The air quality at 9 am was recorded in the poor category, with a reading of 287, according to the Central Pollution Control Board.

The humidity at 8.30 am was recorded at 83 per cent, with the weather department predicting fog during the day.

The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 25 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).


An AQI between zero and 50 is considered good, 51 and 100 satisfactory, 101 and 200 moderate, 201 and 300 poor, 301 and 400 very poor, and 401 and 500 severe.
