‘Air power is key to protecting national interests’: IAF Chief on preparedness amid uncertainties
The Indian Air Force marks its 94th anniversary on October 8, with Air Chief Marshal AP Singh highlighting operational readiness, combat capability and the changing role of air power. Speaking at the Air Force Day celebrations at Hindon, AP Singh recalled the IAF’s operations during Operation Sindoor and said the force remains alert, committed and ready to meet any contingency. He also stressed that an air force’s true strength lies in its operational preparedness and its air warriors. The IAF showcased Rafale, Su-30MKI, Jaguar, LCH Prachand, ALH Dhruv and other key combat and air defence systems.
