Women and Child Development Minister Bindhu Krishna on Sunday said action will be taken on corruption allegations against the Kerala Women's Commission
The Vigilance wing had recently conducted a search at the commission's headquarters here in connection with alleged corruption in various programmes carried out by the panel.

Speaking to reporters, Krishna said the issues concerning the Women's Commission have been noted.
"Honestly, it is extremely serious that a Women's Commission-which is legally and morally responsible for ensuring the safety and welfare of women in Kerala-is facing such issues and allegations of corruption," she said.
"We are awaiting the Vigilance report. Once it arrives, further action will be taken after consulting with the CM and the Home minister," she said.

Asked whether the state government will dissolve the current commission, Krishna said any decision will be based on the Vigilance report.
"In any case, the report will be received soon. Further action will be taken after examining the report," she said.
