Accel's Prashanth Prakash appointed CM's advisor

The State Government on Tuesday appointed Karnataka's Startup Vision Group chairman Prashanth Prakash as Advisor (policy & strategy) to the chief minister. Prakash is also a founding partner at Accel, a venture capital firm.

Prashanth is from Bangalore and holds a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Delaware and an undergraduate degree in computer science. He began investing in Indian technology startups in 2004 years before they acquired a wider recognition, and attention of investors.
