‘A gift of mobility’: Jaishankar launches Jaipur Foot Centre, agro-hub in Trinidad and Tobago

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar inaugurated an India-backed agro-processing facility in South Trinidad and launched a permanent Jaipur Foot Prosthetics Centre in Penal with Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar on May 10. The projects expand India’s development partnership in the Caribbean following Jaishankar’s diplomatic visits to Jamaica and Suriname and continue initiatives linked to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s outreach to Trinidad and Tobago.
