3 arrested on charge of attempting to murder Tripura CM Biplab Kumar Deb

Three persons were arrested on the charge of attempting to murder Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb.

The Chief Minister had a narrow escape on Thursday night when a speeding car was about to hit him. Three accused, travelling in a speedy car violating the night curfew and other traffic rules are sent to 14 days’ custody.

One of his security personnel sustained minor injuries. The three youths is identified as -- Subham Saha (27), Aman Saha (25), Gairik Ghosh (24), Police seized the car and their mobile sets and has been conducting raids in their houses
