Authorities said a police team reached the site around 5:30 am after receiving information about the incident. The woman was found critically injured and was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was declared dead. Her body has been sent for postmortem examination.

No suicide note has been recovered so far, but sources indicated that the woman had been battling depression and had attempted suicide in the past.
Police said the woman, identified as Shivika, was pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Mohali, Punjab, where she was also working. She had recently returned to Greater Noida West to celebrate Holi with her parents.
The family told police they had dinner together on Monday night, after which they retired to their rooms. On Tuesday morning, society security guards informed them about the incident. The family has not lodged a formal complaint and said there were no immediate indications of why she may have taken the extreme step.
As part of the ongoing investigation, police are reviewing CCTV footage from the society to reconstruct the sequence of events and determine the circumstances leading up to the incident.
