21-day furlough for Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim approved by Haryana govt

The Haryana government on Monday approved a 21-day furlough for Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.

The Dera head is lodged in Sunaria jail of Rohtak after his conviction in separate cases of rape and murders.

The move has been perceived as a major development especially, in the wake of upcoming assembly elections in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.
