1988 road rage case: Navjot Sidhu likely to be released today; security beefed up outside Patiala jail
Former cricketer and Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu will be released from Patiala jail on April 1, said Punjab Minister Brahm Shankar Jimpa on Friday. The minister said, "Punjab government has no objection to this. The issue of release of prisoners whose sentence has been completed is approved by the cabinet. Those who have completed their sentence will be released."
