Delhi Police arrests 6 people for putting up posters against PM saying 'Modi-Hatao, Desh Bachao'
Over 100 FIRs have been registered and six people have been arrested by the Delhi Police in connection with objectionable posters, including those with derogatory remarks against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, across the national capital.

Police have reportedly removed over 2,000 posters from several parts of the city.


A senior police official said that 100 FIRs were registered and six people have been arrested for objectionable posters.

The arrested people were released on bail later.

"The FIRs were registered under sections of Printing Press Act and Defacement of Property Act. Police after receiving information also intercepted a van as soon as it left the AAP office. Posters were seized from the van," said the official.

"A van was also intercepted as soon as it left the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) office. Few posters were seized and arrests were made," Special CP Deependra Pathak told ANI.
