The ten-day-long Ganesh Chaturthi is starting today August 31. Ganesh Chaturthi or Vinayak Chaturthi is celebrated with much fanfare across the country with lakhs of devotees throng to Ganesh temples to seek blessing from Lord Ganesha. One such famous temple in Mumbai, Lalbaugcha Raja, attracts lakh of devotees during this period.

This year, in collaboration with Jio Mart and Paytm, Lalbaugcha Raja temple management has announced a new service of online delivery of prasad to the doorsteps of the devotees.

According to the official website of Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, Lalbaug, devotees can order prasad of two laddus on JioMart. JioMart will only deliver prasad orders for Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and the Thane region.


However, devotees from across the country and outside India can order online prasad on Paytm. Prasad will be available in the form of 250 gm dry fruits.

Lalbaugcha Raja temple is quite famous temple in Maharashtra. The ancient temple, located at Putlabai Chawl, was founded in 1934.
