How to book train ticket on Paytm, check PNR status, live train running status

Paytm users can now book train tickets, check live train status along with many other Indian Railways related services on its platform. The Country's leading payments services company has now enabled passengers to book tatkal tickets, check PNR and live train running status, get instant refunds on ticket cancellation, track the platform number along with other IRCTC booking-related services.

It claims that it also has a PNR confirmation prediction feature through which users get an approximate idea of whether their tickets will get confirmed. It also offers guaranteed seat assistance that provides the best alternative routes in times of unavailability.

Here is how you can book train ticket on Paytm and use other train related services:

• Login to Paytm on app or visit paytm.com/train-tickets
• Select your source and destination railway station
• Enter the date of the journey
• Click “Search” button to get a result of available trains.
• Select train and check seat availability.
• Select the seat, class and date.
• After confirming all these details and once you are ready to book your ticket, click on “Book” button and enter your IRCTC login ID
• If you do not have a login Id then tap on “Sign-up with IRCTC” option or reset your IRCTC ID password by clicking on “Forgot IRCTC Password”.
• Fill in your personal details and click “Book”.
• Complete the payment through your preferred payment option.
• You will now be redirected to the IRCTC website.
• Enter the password to verify.
• Once the tickets are booked, you can download the your ticket pdf.
• It will also send an email of your tickets to your registered mail id.

How to check train PNR status on Paytm

• Visit Paytm app or website, train tickets, PNR status
• Enter your PNR number in the search box.
• Click check PNR status button.
• Your PNR status will be displayed on the screen.

How to check live train running status on Paytm

• Open Paytm app
• Enter the train number or the name of the train.
• Select boarding station.
• Enter the boarding date
• Click “Check Live Status”
• The live running status will appear on the next page
