Here is how you can play games on YouTube

In a bid to enhance the entertainment experience for YouTube Premium subscribers, YouTube has rolled out a new feature named Playables. This experimental feature allows Premium users to play a variety of games directly on the YouTube website or mobile app, eliminating the need for tedious downloads or installations.

The Playables feature provides easily shareable games, with YouTube expressing its intention to expand the available gaming options in the future. To access this gaming experience, follow these simple steps:

➜ Open the YouTube app on your iOS or Android device and navigate to the 'You' tab.

➜ For web users, visit www.youtube.com and click on your profile picture in the top right corner.
➜ Tap on the 'Settings' icon in the top right corner of the app or click on 'Try new features' if you are on the web.
➜ Web users can also click on 'Your Premium benefits.'
➜ Look for the 'Play games on YouTube' option in the experimental features and turn it on.
➜ Once activated, tap the 'explore' icon on the top strip, scroll down, and select 'Playables' to find a list of available games.
➜ Alternatively, on the web, click the hamburger icon on the top left to open the Explore menu, where you will find the games under the 'Playables' option.

It's important to note that only YouTube Premium subscribers can enjoy the Playables feature. Unfortunately, there's no indication of whether non-paying users will have access in the future. The Playables experiment is set to conclude on March 28.
