To apply, candidates must provide essential documentation, including Economically Backward Class/Other Backward Class-Non-Creamy Layer certificates, income tax returns, PAN cards, an undertaking, bonafide certificate, mark sheet, fee receipt, and bank passbook.
Certain programs, such as BTech (Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering), and five-year integrated law programs (BA LLB/BBA LLB), are ineligible due to existing fee waivers during admission.
The documentation required for the application includes a self-attested copy of EWS/OBC-NCL or annual family income certificate issued by a competent authority after March 31, 2023. Notary-issued income certificates will not be accepted. Additionally, applicants must submit self-attested copies of the latest Income Tax Returns (2022-23) for the father, mother, unmarried sisters, unmarried brothers below 25 years, and PAN cards for all mentioned individuals.
Other necessary documents include an undertaking signed by the applicant, a bonafide certificate signed by the head/director of the center/department/institute in the specified format on the official website, the last exam's mark sheet, the latest fee receipt, and the bank passbook reflecting the student's name, account number, and IFSC code or a canceled cheque.
It's important to note that students with essential repeats (ER) in any previous examinations are not eligible to apply for this financial support scheme. The initiative aims to alleviate financial burdens for eligible students, ensuring access to education without undue economic constraints.
