It is important to note that this feature works best for basic adjustments and may not be suitable for more complex editing tasks.
In a recent update, Apple has rolled out an innovative bulk editing feature for its Photos app, available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices. This new feature, akin to those familiar in software like Photoshop and Lightroom, enables users to efficiently apply edits made to one photo to multiple others without the need to open each one individually.

This addition comes as a boon to users seeking a streamlined approach to photo editing, particularly when dealing with multiple images taken in the same setting that require similar touch-ups. Here's how you can take advantage of this new functionality on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac:

Step 1: Ensure that your device is running the latest operating system, and your Photos app is updated to its most recent version.

Step 2: Open the Photos app and select the photo you want to edit.

Step 3: Make the desired edits, and once you're satisfied, tap "Done" to save them.

Step 4: At the top right corner of your screen, you will find three small dots in a row. Tap on these dots.

Step 5: Choose "Copy Edits" from the options that appear.

Step 6: You can now apply these same changes to other photos:

  • Select all the other photos you wish to edit by tapping "Select" at the top right.
  • Then, tap the three-dot icon at the bottom right.
  • Choose "Paste Edits."
And that's it! Your edits will now be applied to all the selected photos.

However, it's worth noting that the effectiveness of this bulk edit feature is most pronounced when dealing with photos taken in a similar environment or during the same occasion. It is best suited for making basic adjustments and may not be suitable for more intricate editing tasks such as altering tint, sharpness, or cropping.
