AGRA: Twenty flap shelled turtles were found dead in a small pond in Agra. The incident took place in highly densely populated village of Pura Kanera village in Basauni of Bah area.

Speaking to TOI, forest ranger KM Sudhir said, “We have sent the corpse of turtles to Bareilly for post mortem, though it seems due to excessive garbage dumping and lack of fresh water in pond is reason for death of reptiles.”
