NASHIK: Noticed that the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) failed to clear garbage-filled plastic bags near Nehru Garden at Pandavleni locality, Nature Club members cleared the plastic debris on Monday.

Unidentified persons had dumped about 10 to 15 trucks of garbage plastic bag wastage in NMC's place near Nehru Garden area on Mumbai-Agra-road, about 7 kms from here and the city-based Nature Club members, headed by its president Anand Bora informed NMC Health Department to clear the garbage which was causing threat to environment. "But the NMC had neglected it," Bora said.

Members of Nature Club went to the area yesterday and cleared the area by collecting at least one truck load of plastic garbage bags and once again requested the NMC's health department officer to clear the remaining garbage immediately to prevent water-pollution in this rainy season, Bora added.
