DVAC raids in pollution control board offices

Sleuths of Directorate of Vigilance and Anti Corruption wing of the police raided the pollution control board offices here and at Tirupur.

COIMBATORE: Sleuths of Directorate of Vigilance and Anti Corruption wing (DVAC) of the police raided the pollution control board offices here and at Tirupur.

The raids were carried out following complaints of irregularities in these offices, DVAC sources said.

An unaccounted amount of Rs 10,000 was recovered from a dust bin of the office of district Environment Engineer in Tirupur and some documents were recovered from Coimbatore office, the sources said.
