In first of its kind endeavour, tigers are being relocated to Sairska from Ranthambore National Park. In a span of two years, five tigers will be shifted to this new terrain.

In first of its kind endeavour, tigers are being relocated to Sariska from Ranthambore National Park. In a span of two years, five tigers will be shifted to this new terrain. Wildlife officials say this is a major move, which will go a long way in the conservation of the endangered big cats.

However, the move is not completely free of risks, which officials also admit. Besides, Sariska being infamous as a poaching haven there are issues of villagers being up in arms against the shift and also the danger involved in adaptability quotient of the new tigers.
