Two hurt in attack by leopard

NASHIK: Two persons were injured in a leopard attack near here in North Maharashtra, police said.

Farm labourers Kalu Sonawane (20) and Chintaman Pawar (30) were working in an agricultural field in Dahinsule-Shivar village when they were attacked by the wild animal last evening, they said.

The duo was admitted in a government hospital. Villagers have requested the forest department to catch the leopard moving freely in the area.
