Two elephants found dead in Kerala forest

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Carcasses of two wild elephants were found deep inside the forest under the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.

The sanctuary authorities said a team of Wildlife officials including, veterinary surgeons, had been sent to the area from where the carcasses were found.

The reason for the death would be known only after the post-mortem, officials said.
