Two arrested for selling leopard skin

HYDERABAD: Two persons were on Friday arrested for allegedly selling leopard skin at S R Nagar here, police said.

T Kishore Babu and T Suresh, natives of Guntur district procured Leopard skin from Visakhapatnam for Rs 5,000 and were planning to sell the skin for Rs 2 lakh, Commissioner's Task Force DCP V B Kamalasan Reddy said.

A leopard skin was recovered from their possession, he said.

The duo handed over to S R Nagar police for taking further action under Wildlife Protection Act.
