Tiger found dead in Nagarahole

A tiger was found dead in Nagarahole national park on Monday.

MYSORE: A tiger was found dead in Nagarahole national park on Monday.

According to forest officers, the tiger aged 14 years has died due to injuries sustained during infighting.

Wound marks were found around its neck region.

Tiger had died a week back near Maralu Hebbalahalla Gudda in compartment 10 of Veeranahosahalli forest range of Nagarahole tiger deserve. The body was decomposed but claws n tooth were intact.

Project tiger field director Hosmath, ACF Belliappa and vet K S Umashamkar visited the spot.
