Two minor girls have been killed by leopard within 24 hours in the east of the capital city of Nepal.

KATHMANDU: Two minor girls have been killed by leopard within 24 hours in the east of the capital city of Nepal.

Dolma Lama, 5, and Shristi Lama, 3, have been killed by the leopard in Kavre district, officials of the department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation said.

Meanwhile, Nepalese authorities have captured alive a man eater tiger which had turned into a man-eater and killed four persons in a protected area of central Nepal.

It was captured with the help of elephants and security guards at the national park.

The captured tiger, which has been put in captivity at Chitawan, will either be killed or taken to the central zoo the capital, officials said.
