JAIPUR: The baby boom at the Ranthambore tiger reserve continues. Tigress T-17, referred to as Sundari, was spotted with her three cubs at the Rajbagh talab on Friday. Wildlife enthusiasts are elated at the news.

"Speculations were rife for some time that Sundari had produced litter but the cubs were not seen. This morning, they were seen with the tigress. She was seen in the terrain around the Padam Talab, Rajbagh Talab, Malik Talab and Kachita Valley," said officials.

Sundari was fitted with a radio collar in 2008. However, it had become non-functional two years ago. State forest and tourism minister Bina Kak had directed that the collar be removed in 2008. Sundari had been mating for past several years but had not produced litter. Once the collar was removed, she conceived this time.
