Poaching gang busted, two arrested
HATHIGAWAN: The Uttar Pradesh police has busted a gang of poachers believed to be run by an armyman posted in Jammu and Kashmir. Two members of his gang, one of them an ex-soldier, were arrested while they were trying to sell skins of tiger, leopard and panther.

The animal skins seized by police include one tiger skin, 10 of leopards and three of pythons. One python skin is 12-feet long, police said.

The kingpin of the gang has been identified as Ram Achal Misha, a resident of Sultanpur.

He is posted in Kashmir and, according to police, had brought the skins from Jammu & Kashmir.
