MP CM orders transfers of three National Park directors

Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has ordered the transfer of the directors of Kanha, Bandhavgarh and Panna National parks with immediate effect after a review meeting of forest department officials.

BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has ordered the transfer of the Directors of Kanha, Bandhavgarh and Panna National parks with immediate effect after a review meeting of forest department officials.

Chouhan has also asked officials to provide a list of Directors who have served at National Parks in the last five years, an official release said here today.

The chief minister is said to have expressed displeasure at the status of tiger conservation in the state, the release added.
