The house will help maintain biological rhythm of the nocturnal animals. "We have plans to decorate the house in order to give it a natural ambience", said Renu Singh, zoo director.

The house has eight enclosures and animals like owls, flying fox and some reptiles will be kept in it. The lighting arrangement within it will be such that animals will feel active during the day. This new house will come up next to the fish aquarium.
