Leopards rescued from well

Two leopards, which accidentally fell into a well in Igatpuri tehsil have been rescued by the forest department, its officials said.

NASHIK: Two leopards, which accidentally fell into a well in Igatpuri tehsil have been rescued by the forest department, its officials said on Tuesday.

The incident took place on Sunday night when the wild cats were chasing their hunt, they said.

They were brought out of the well with the help of a ladder by the forest officials yesterday, after villagers in the Bharvir-Khurd area raised an alarm.

The leopards, later, ran away into a nearby sugarcane field.
