FATEHABAD: Fear of leopard attack created panic in Chandpura village of the district on Tuesday. On the complaint of villagers, the forest department has deployed a team in the village to catch the animal.

According to a resident, Nanu Singh, 50, he was attacked by an animal on way to Fatehabad, which was identical to leopard. Singh said he was attacked from behind and thus could not spot the animal, which fled after he waved an axe towards the animal. He however suffered injuries on his eyes.
