Leopard lynched to death in MP

DHAR (MP): A leopard which attacked several villagers of Tornod village was lynched to death on Friday, police said. (Watch)

The leopard which entered the village which is about eight km from Dhar, on Friday attacked six villagers, after which the panicked villagers attacked it with stones and sticks, police said.

Confirming the incident, district forest officer Raghvendra Shrivastava, said the six people injured were being treated at the Dhar district government hospital.

A post-mortem was conducted on the leopard, Shrivastava added.
