Eco-tourism board to start 'Jungle Caravan' for tourists
BHOPAL: There is good news for tourists interested in enjoying the natural spots in the jungles on the outskirts of Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Eco-Tourism Development Board is launching “Jungle Caravan” scheme from 23rd of this month for excursions to tourist spots in and around Bhopal.

Under the scheme, tourists will be able to enjoy sightseeing at weekends or during holidays at beautiful natural spots like Kerwa, Van Vihar, Samardha, Kathotiya, Chidikhoh and so on. During the journey, tourists will also be made aware on the nature conservation.

The board will make available various facilities at a given tourist spot to as per a tourist’s wish including tour guidance, bird watching, boating, rock climbing, rappelling, bullock and cart ride. Lunch packets and breakfast will also be provided. The package will cost Rs. 800 per person. A group can comprise minimum 12 and maximum 25 persons.

The officials of the MP Eco Tourism Development Board believed that the idea would help in attracting more number of tourists from the interstate and outside as well.
