Barely ten days after the death of a youth in elephant attack, another man was trampled to death by a tusker in Solo forest range, about 80km from here in Sundergarh district.

ROURKELA (Orissa): Barely ten days after the death of a youth in elephant attack, another man was trampled to death by a tusker in Solo forest range, about 80km from here in Sundergarh district, police said.

Kelutha Munda of Kichiniri village was tossed the ground by the animal and then trampled to death last night, poolice said.

Munda was purchasing essential from the nearby Jarda weekly market.

The incident came barely ten days after the death of a 20-year old. Jadu Barua was attacked by another pachyderm on December nine, 2008 who succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
