Wanted: Great green ideas

We invite readers to send in innovative ideas on saving the environment under five categories: water conservation and management, energy generation and conservation, transport management and pollution abatement, creating green spaces, and waste management. People living outside the six cities can also send in their ideas. Their entry will be considered along with the entries from the city to which their home is geographically closest. Ten entries will be shortlisted from each city and a panel of eminent people and celebrities will select the top idea from each city. These six ideas will be presented to the government and the National Innovation Foundation.

A national panel of environmental experts will pick the national winner, who will present his idea at the United Nations Environment Programme’s TUNZA Asia-Pacific Youth Conference. So if you have a great green idea, send it in to us. Take care, take charge. And heal the world.
