Tiger kills man in Tadoba reserve's core area
The raging man-animal conflict flared further as one more person was killed in tiger attack inside core area of Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) on Thursday.

Sources said a group of villagers from Kolara, located on the outskirts of TATR, intruded the core area of the tiger reserve in the evening. While they were moving through Pandharpaoni area of Tadoba range, a tiger attacked Vidhoba Nogse near Waghai nullah.
Sources said, the Yenbodi tiger having its habitat in the area is suspected to be behind the attack. They claimed that after killing Nogse on-the-spot, the tiger even charged at other villagers as they tried to save the victim. The villagers rushed back to Kolara and reported the matter to TATR authorities. By then the tiger had eaten substantial part of its kill, sources added.
Deputy director, TATR (core), Sujay Dodal said the incident took place inside the Tadoba range in core area of the tiger reserve when the victim went there for felling bamboo. "DFO Reddy and Tadoba RFO Yede rushed to the spot with their team. Chimur police too have been summoned for inquest formalities," he said. Dodal, however, refused to identify the tiger behind the attack.
On Wednesday, a tiger had killed Poonam Shende in FDCM Lohara forest. In all, four people have been killed since December 7, 2012, in wild animal attack in district.
