Today I had a busy and very productive day at Rio+20. It started off with the official launch of the Clean Revolution program, supporting the Climate group.

Along with Phillips, the Monaco principality, the Quebec premier and several other institutions and NGOs, we spoke about the role of the leadership in this process and the role of Suzlon as a key supporter.

With an audience of almost 200 global business and society leaders and ample media coverage, it was a great moment for Suzlon to show how we’re powering our greener tomorrow.

Later in the day I visited the Rio Pavillion, the main exposition and discussion arena. The setup is impressive, with dozens of country and company booths and sustainability related expositions. Under the United Nations Environmental Program, Suzlon debated the importance of strategy and technology to speed up the integration of green economies.

In that debate there was the participation of big companies like GE, British Telecom, Codelco and others, among R&D institutes and Universities. The highlight was Suzlon's position as a company able to integrate technical solutions in order to bring fast and secure energy.
