Amber Heard announces arrival of twins in Mother's Day post

Hollywood actress Amber Heard announced the arrival of her twins in a Mother's Day post. Taking to her Instagram handle, the Aquaman star revealed that she had welcomed daughter Agnes and son Ocean, further sharing that she feels "elated beyond words" while celebrating the moment.

Heard is already mother to her first daughter, Oonagh, whom she welcomed in April 2021 via surrogacy. The actor was earlier married to Johnny Depp from 2015 to 2016. The duo were involved in high-profile defamation cases after accusing each other of domestic abuse.

In a long note, Heard penned down her thoughts on the arrival of the newest members in her family. "Mother’s Day 2025 will be one I’ll never forget. This year, I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I’ve strived to build for years. Today, I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang. My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean are keeping my hands (and my heart) full," she wrote in the caption.

Amber Heard on motherhood

Recalling the birth of her first child, Oonagh, Heard added that she has been "bursting with more joy" after becoming the mother of three. Heard also revealed struggling with fertility challenges, which she overcame and had the "most humbling experience" of her life.

“I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully. To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you. Love always, A," the note concluded. The post also includes an adorable picture of the little ones' feet.

Amber Heard’s personal life

The announcement came months after Amber Heard's representative told E! News about the actress's plan to expand her family. "It is still quite early in the pregnancy, so you will appreciate that we do not want to go into much detail at this stage," the rep said at the time.

It is worth mentioning that the actress has largely kept out of the spotlight in the years since her much publicised legal battles with ex-husband Johnny Depp. It is still unclear if the actress is currently dating anyone.
