West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee
Hitting out at the BJP, West Bengal chief minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee on Friday said that after winning the Lok Sabha polls, "they (BJP) will throw out everyone through National Register of Citizens (NRC) and there will be no more elections in the country".

"CAA (Citizenship (Amendment) Act) is a stage-managed drama like Sandeshkhali issue, and the Prime Minister tells lies in Bengal," Banerjee said on Friday.

"Once you apply for CAA, you will be thrown out of the country," she told the crowd while addressing two public rallies in Jhargram and Ghatal constituencies in East Midnapore. and participated in a roadshow in Medinipur constituency. Banerjee later participated in a road show in the Midnapore LokSabha constituency in support of the party's candidate June Maliah.

"The Prime Minister comes to Bengal and tells lies about development in the state, especially in the tribal belt of Jhargram," the Trinamool chief said. "In the last election, he came to the tribal belt and promised several things and you voted for him."

The chief minister said it will be the last election if Modi remains in power. "There will be no democracy. So, Modi should go...we urge people to vote for us, as we need to increase the seats," Banerjee said, adding that she will be instrumental in forming the INDIA government.

In the interest of women voters, Banerjee said, "Lakshmir Bhandar will never be stopped. Recently, a BJP worker said Lakshmir Bhandar will be stopped by BJP in three months. That is absolutely false. No one has the power to stop Lakshmir Bhandar."
