LS Polls 2024: Mamata Banerjee's only aim to make nephew the next Bengal CM, claims Amit Shah
Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Bengal lashed out at Mamata Banerjee and warned not to misuse police against BJP leaders and LoP Suendu Adhikari, in connection with a raid in Adhikari's house in Kolaghat. Shah’s comments come a night after LoP Suvendu Adhikari’s house was raided by Bengal Police.

"Please don’t misuse the police, Bengal’s public will not cast a single vote. This is Suvendu’s area. More the torture on Suvendu, BJP will support him more and make him a bigger leader.," Shah said. Shah addressed three rallies in Bengal's Contai, Medinipur and Purulia Constituencies and participated in a roadshow in Bankura.

“Mamata Didi stop misuse of police. Otherwise “do-char” (few) seats will not be given to you by the public…As I landed, I received a sms that raids are going in Suvendu’s house. Police raided houses of Suvendu. We are BJP and we are not scared of Police. Rs 51 crore was found. Four paisa (char ana) was not received from Suvendu’s Houses,” Shah said. Shah urged people to make BJP victorious in all seats from East Midnapore.

BJP Ghatal candidate Hiran’s PA’s house was also raided last midnight.

East Midnapore is Suvendu’s stronghold. More the torture on Suvendu, BJP will support him more and BJP will make him a bigger leader,” Shah claimed after speaking about raid in LoP Suvendu Adhikari’s house in Kolaghat.

“Suvendu Adhikari defeated Mamata Banerjee and she took other route to win. Make sure no other route is available this time,” Shah added.

LoP Suvendu Adhikari and Hiran both have moved Calcutta High Court on the issue. “They were here to plant bombs and arms in my house. Then, they would have said I am keeping arms,” Adhikari said.

“Poll violence is high in Bengal. But this time Mamata Banerjee’s goons were unable. ECI has assured free and fair polls. We have demanded paramilitary forces should stay here post-election,” Shah said

Giving a clarion call again in Bengal, Shah said, “If 30 seats will go to BJP and Mamata government will go.”
