Dimple Yadav clinched victory in the 2022 Mainpuri Lok Sabha bypoll, succeeding SP patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav after his demise. Now, she faces a competitive electoral landscape, contending against BJP candidate Jaiveer Singh and BSP's Shiv Prasad Yadav in the forthcoming polls scheduled for May 7.

In her nomination affidavit, Dimple Yadav disclosed assets, including immovable assets worth over Rs 10.42 crore and movable assets valued at Rs 5.10 crore. Notably, she declared a loan owed to her husband, Akhilesh Yadav, amounting to Rs 54.26 lakh. Akhilesh Yadav, in turn, declared immovable assets exceeding Rs 17.33 crore and movable assets surpassing Rs 9.12 crore.

Dimple Yadav also declared crockery under her husband, Akhilesh Yadav's name worth over Rs 1.6 lakh, exercise machine worth Rs 5.34 lakh, furniture worth Rs 17,085 and a mobile phone worth Rs 76,015.

Dimple Yadav's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Lucknow University in 1998. She entered wedlock with Akhilesh Yadav in 1999, marking a significant personal milestone alongside her political journey.
