SIVAGANGA: BJP candidate for Sivaganga constituency H Raja Wednesday objected to Congress candidate Karti Chidambaram's nomination papers being accepted, alleging he had not submitted all facts in his affidavit.

Raja took objection during scrutiny of nominations of his constituency.

Later, talking to reporters, he said the affidavit of Karti did not contain details of the properties of his family members and that his nomination should be rejected.

He also referred the matter to the Collector and Polling officer.

Raja said that in 2009, Karthi's father P Chidambaram had filed an affidavit wherein he mentioned details of the joint family members.

He also reacted to DMK chief M K Stalin's charge against O Panneerselvam's son, who is contesting the Lok sabha election, that he did not have any qualification except being the son of the deputy chief minister.

Raja remarked: "what qualification does Stalin have except being the son of M Karunanidhi?" Stalin has no moral right to criticise others regarding heir apparent qualification.
